Great bell of Notre Dame tolls over Paris one year after fire

A year on from the fire that destroyed much of Notre-Dame de Paris, the cathedral’s great bell rang out, as a mark of resilience as the world battles the coronavirus pandemic. The bourdon bell has sounded just once since April 15, 2019, when the blaze engulfed the 850-year-old cathedral. Source: SBS News
